Working with SouthWestSensor, we designed a wearable microfluidic device for patients, allowing doctors to monitor the conditions of the patients in real-time. It enables doctors to diagnose and treat acute illnesses quickly, monitoring the effects of medical drugs. This avoids the need to send
samples to a laboratory for testing, saving both time and money.
We designed the device enclosure, both aesthetically and mechanically. It was designed to house all the fluidic components as well as the pump mechanism.
